The Old Town Newhall Farmers Market is back on a new day, new location and new hours – Saturdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the corner of Railroad Ave. and Lyons Ave. An abundance of free parking is available.
California farmers and specialty food purveyors come together each Saturday, rain or shine, to bring you the finest in fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables, including organic, baked goods, flowers, herbs, cheeses, and prepared foods. The Market offers patrons a chance to come face to face with their food source.

The Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival is one of the best and biggest Cowboy gatherings in the world. From March through October, visit Main Street on the first, second and third Thursday of the month to enjoy free nightlife events as part of Thursdays @ Newhall. The ongoing event series draws thousands of attendees each week to experience outdoor galleries with Art SLAM, music and movement with JAM Sessions, and free themed outdoor block parties with SENSES. With live music, great food, and fun activities, Thursdays @ Newhall offers something for everyone.
Step inside the Old Town Newhall Library and find yourself in a space where local history, culture, art and literature combine to create one of the most unique buildings in California. The library inspires thought, creativity and learning through a variety of free weekly activities ranging from reading events, storytimes, movie nights, book signings, workshops and more than one million titles available to explore.
The City of Santa Clarita’s Community Centers connect residents with quality structured programs and activities. The Newhall Community Center (located at 22421 Market Street) offers a variety of community events, organized sports, specialty classes and programs for youth and active adults, as well as intergenerational programming for the whole family. Residents may sign up for a free membership to access the Center’s wide range of amenities, programs and classes.
The Old Town Newhall Association is non-profit organization that promotes the downtown Newhall area with additional events and activities hosted throughout the year.
