Santa Clarita Investment in Old Town Newhall

Public and private investments have transformed Main Street and surrounding areas of Old Town Newhall into a vibrant Arts & Entertainment District.  The charming 271-acre destination is home to eclectic boutiques, in-demand restaurants and historic points of interest that recall Newhall’s Wild West history. The area is also home to the newly-minted Old Town Newhall branch of the Santa Clarita Public Library, the Newhall Metrolink station, and an award winning Business Incubator catering to local creative and tech startups.

This city block is under development to include a Laemmle Theatre, a 7 screen art house movie theatre and Newhall Crossings, a mixed use project with +20,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space and 47 residential units. In 2018, the City opened a new parking structure on this property.

Lodge pole fencing and landscaping separate pedestrians and motorists from the railroad tracks.
